2005 Merlot, Single Parcel B9

Intense red garnet color and a bouquet of ripened red fruits, combined with a hint of smoke. On the palate, it exhibits great volume, with sweet and persistent tannins. Sweet, fresh herbs, laced with vanilla, liquorice and juicy fruits. Long lasting finish.

VARIETAL:

Merlot

VINIFICATION:

Hand selected grapes. Maceration for five days at 10�C. Fermentation at 26 degrees C, pumping over twice a day. Post-maceration with one pigeage a day. Total maceration time is 28 days. Malolactic fermentation in vats.

MATURING:

Aged for ten months in new barrels, medium toasted French oak.
