2009 Granbazán Albariño Verde
An attractive pale yellow tone with greenish tints. The original aromas are of great intensity and finesse; they're fruity (green apple, grapefruit), along with some fine plant fragrances (fennel, hay). On the palate this wine is slightly glyceric, endowed with highly intense fresh citric acidity that persists through the finish.

-Saveour Magazine: "A serious Albariño made with palate-coating glycerine and herbalmenthol flavors with some peach and apricot. Feels complete, finishes dry." May 2006.
Albariño
Crisp and herbaceous due to the fact that the must has had contact with the skin of the grape. Collection is made by hand and in boxes, marking the beginning of the fermentation process of these elegant fruity wines. Maceration takes place between 5-7°C. Extracted must is added to the fermentation tanks primarily through gravity, with a small percentage of pressed must added. Alcoholic fermentation takes place at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks over 1.5 months.
Finished wine remains in stainless steel tanks just under 8 months to let it mature and soften.
