Broncone "Young Man in Costume" 2001

The La Fucina di Leonardo (Leonardo's workshop) project was developed in collaboration with the Museo Ideale Leonardo Da Vinci (Leonardo Da Vinci’s Ideal Museum) whose aim is to widen and to deepen the worldwide knowledge and understanding of the greatest genius of the Renaissance through the rediscovery of drawings, sketches and intuitions on a wide range of different topics. The Italian term ‘broncone’ is not only a tree cutting, but also the endpost that supports vines in a vineyard. The name ‘Broncone’ evokes the re-flowering of enlightenment in renaissance Florence and embodies the excellence that Da Vinci would have surely found in this magnificent wine.
