Jules Syrah/Grenache, 2008

Winemaker Julian Faulkner honed his craft working at his family's winery in Provence, Le Grand Cros. While continuing his lauded efforts there, he has set his sights west. Working with growers to source top quality fruit, he has created a terrific everyday wine. This is the wine we've come to love in these parts - easy drinking, with good fruit, earthy flavors and aromas with just enough oak for structure.

VARIETAL:

80% Syrah, 20% Grenache

VINIFICATION:

Grapes were vinified separately before blending and aging.

MATURING:

Held mostly on 2nd use French oak and in bottle before release.
