Old self-rooted vines with ideal south-southwest exposure give outstanding concentration depth without being heavy or cloying. Karl Christoffel is one of four estates in the Mosel Valley owned by the Pauly-Berweiler family. 99% of the production is dedicated to Riesling grapes which are handpicked and vinified in their modern winery in Bernkastel.
