Dry, fairly light, red apples and menthol, hint of residual sugar balanced by the high acidity of the 2008 vintage and a healthy dose of minerality. Excellent with spicier foods that are not particularly wine friendly.

Karl Christoffel is one of four estates in the Mosel Valley owned by the Pauly-Berweiler family. 99% of the production is dedicated to Riesling grapes which are handpicked and vinified in their modern winery in Bernkastel.
