Domaine de la Romanee Conti
About DRC
Considered the pinnacle of Burgundy, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti produces some of the world’s most revered wines from its tiny vineyards in Vosne-Romanée. Two of the Domaine’s seven Grand Cru vineyards - La Romanée-Conti and La Tâche - are monopoles (appellations entirely owned by the Domaine) and unarguably the greatest vineyards in Burgundy. Richebourg, Romanée-St.-Vivant, Grands-Echézeaux, Echézeaux, and Montrachet (in Chassagne) are also Grand Cru vineyards, yielding sublime wines that are among the most highly-sought, seductive and rarest in the world.
La Tache
The La Tache vineyard is the southernmost Grand Cru vineyard in the Vosne-Romanee appellation. The 6.1 ha vineyard is solely owned by DRC and produces roughly 1800 cases per year. The wine is known to be rich and intense with a deep color and unique exotic spiceness.

Domaine Armand Rousseau
About Rousseau
Domaine Armand Rousseau grew from humble beginnings. Long being an estate that sold high quanties of bulk-wine, Armand Rousseau saw the future of single vineyard wines and invested a good part of his profits into buying highly esteemed grand-cru vineyards in the early 1900's. The original commitment has paid off. Of the 13 hectares, 8 of those are grand-cru vineyards and all located in Morey-St-Denis and Gevrey-Chambertin. The average age of the vines is nearing 50 years old... only more great things to come.
Chambertin
Domaine Rousseau has a 2.15 ha holding in the famed Chambertin vineyard. These wines are known to be vigorous and firm with a liquorice characteristic and firm tannins.
2000, 750ml $350
Chambertin, Clos de Beze
Rousseau holds only 1.42 ha in the Chambertin Clos de Beze vineyard. The wine from these old vines is complex and incredibly aromatic with subtle hints of red fruits and oriental spices.
2000, 750ml $295
Ruchottes-Chambertin, Clos des Ruchottes
The Clos des Ruchottes is a monopole wine from the Rousseau estate. The wine exubes a velvety elegance and unsurpassed finesse.

Mazis-Chambertin
Mazis-Chambertin is one of the smallest Grand Cru productions in the Domaine Rousseau line up with only .53 ha of vines in the renowned vineyard. The Mazis-Chambertin from Rousseau is known to be virile and powerful, nicely balanced by a rustic and earthy characteristic.
2002, 750ml $175
Charmes-Chambertin
The vines of Charmes-Chambertin produce wines with an incredible suppleness and complexity, nicely integrating both red fruit and floral characteristics.
Clos de la Roche
Located in the heart of Morey-St.-Denis, the Clos de la Roche vineyard is known to produce wines of great length and concentration while having a great minerality and pure fruit aromas.
Gevrey-Chambertin
Domaine Georges & Christophe Roumier
About Roumier
Domaine G. Roumier began as the heart and soul of Chambolle-Musigny, and later spread to Morey-St.-Denis and Gevrey-Chambertin. No other wines of these appellations are made with such meticulous attention to every detail of the wine making process. Only after bio-dynamic cultivation, manual harvesting, and meticulous sorting and partial de-stemming do the grapes get perfectly paired with the oak barrels that best suit the individual qualities of the different vineyards.

2003, 750ml $300
Bonnes-Mares
The Roumier holdings of the Bonnes-Mares vineyard are made up of two distinct parcels. The first is the chalk and clay rich 'Terres Rouges' which adds deep fleshy fruit characteristics nicely balanced by the floral characteristics of the second parcel, 'Terres Blanches'. Blending the wines from these two terroirs produces probably the most symbolic wine of the Domain.

2000, 750ml $250
Ruchottes-Chambertin
Roumier's Ruchottes-Chambertin is very seldom seen in the United States. It appears under the Christophe Roumier label (as opposed to Domaine Georges Roumier), and is the product of a metayage agreement that Christophe has with a businessman who owns the parcel. Because there is so little Chambolle-Musigny "Les Amoureses", Bonnes-Mares and Musigny for thirsty clients in Europe, Roumier reserves the Ruchottes (and also a Charmes-Chambertin that is also sharecropped) for sale to private clients.
Morey-St.-Denis, Clos de la Bussiere
The red clay soil and stony subsoil of the premier cru Clos de la Bussiere vineyard produce a vigorous and rustic wine with wild aromas.
Chambolle-Musigny
Roumier’s clay and chalk rich 3.7 ha holding in Chambolle-Musigny produces supple and elegant wines.
Chambolle-Musigny, Les Cras
The premier cru Les Cras vineyard is a tiny 1.75 hectares. The marly soil produces an incredibly deep pinot noir.
Domaine Ramonet
Chassagne-Montrachet, Les Ruchottes
Domaine Ramonet has experienced a cult like following for many, many years. Andre Ramonet was unquestionably one of Burgundies best wine makers, especially in Chassagne-Montrachet. Nowadays, the running of the estate is handled by Andre's sons, Noel and Jean-Claude, who are maintaining the domaine's principles of low yields from old vines and little disturbance for the wines on their lees. Their father would be proud.

Domaine Francois Raveneau
Chablis, Les Clos
If there is one estate to give credit in exalting the Chablis name, it is Domaine Francois Raveneau. Long associated with the inexpensive bulk wine in California, the true Chablis of Burgundy are explosive Chardonnays with a driving vein of acidity thanks in part to the limestone rich soils. Raveneau is meticulous in the vineyards and produces wines that are worth every penny of their going rate.
